Running a Track Meet takes many hands. If you would like to volunteer to help us out in any way, we could always use the help! If you are a student, we can grant you service hours. If you are an adult, we give you our gratitude.

Concessions:
- Set up, selling, grilling hot dogs, and take down. - Minimal difficulty, does require being on your feet. 50/50: - Someone who isn’t shy and could mix in amongst the crowd selling tickets. - Only necessary the first half of the meet. Ribbon Tent: - If you are detailed and organized, consider helping out at the ribbons tent! Someone who already “knows the ropes” will be there to direct you. - You can only assist here if you are a High School Senior or older. Long Jump Pit: - We need people who can measure the distance of the jumps, record it on the clipboard, and rake the sand for the next jumper. - It’s best to have at 2-3 people for every time slot. |
Hurdle Crew:
- We need people to help put hurdles on the track, adjust the height, and remove them for the 100m and 110m Hurdle races - This is within the first hour of the meet. Timers: - We need people to help time the races. We have 6 lanes. - Even if you can't help all day, being able to help and hour or two will be very helpful. Lane Watchers: - We need people to help make sure that when athletes finish their race, they stay in their lane until our Statistician writes down their times. - This is especially crucial for the young athletes. |
